We promote linking Solar Projects in Kuwait through a Geographical Information System to allow researchers and investors to identify the solar projects in Kuwait. The current PV projects are the foundation for future project designs which shall be available to the public. This is the first step in Kuwait which will allow for a shared database to be dedicated for PV projects in Kuwait and the region.
Kuwait New Solar Vision calls for adding more information to the map such as number of panels, area size, equipment info, Performance Ratio PR, Capacity Factor, Irradiance, Temp etc. This will allow for PV designers, researchers, investors, decision makers, etc. to have access the data which will give a better understanding of PV performance under Kuwait's geographical and weather conditions and also allow for the enhancement of the technology and the system designs according to the region's requirements.
