KNSV Initiative
“Kuwait new Solar Vision” KNSV, a new Kuwaiti initiative for the foundation of a complete geographical information (GIS) system for soiling and performance maps, this GIS map will be the first in Kuwait, in fact; the first in the world, considering the above influencing issues this soiling map will allow optimal performance and maximum energy production for future PV developments, ensuring a future, for generations to come, anywhere within Kuwait, In fact, anywhere in the world.
“Our future developments are Solar (sunlight), Wind (turbines) and Tidal (wave power), these will allow us to generate and or export this energy resource, however, we have many issues to overcome for renewable future.”
“Kuwait new Solar Vision” KNSV, is the opportunity for Kuwaiti’s to take care of Kuwait’s future renewable developments. We are all aware that our oil reserves are non-renewable and expendable, our future is dependent upon alternative energy supply which are naturally replenished on a human timescale, generally, sunlight, wind, rain, tides, waves, and geothermal heat.
This map is the first step towards Kuwait New Solar Vision which links all PV projects and calls for adding more information to compare between PV project performances according to project specification, design and geographical location.
